Biography


Lewis G. Feldman is widely recognized as one of the nation’s leading real estate and infrastructure attorneys. He holds an AV Preeminent+ rating from Martindale-Hubbell for legal skill and ethical standards—the highest designation awarded. He is consistently honored by Best Lawyers in America as a Tier 1-rated attorney and has been named one of the Top 100 Lawyers in California by The Daily Journal. His work has also earned distinction from The Legal 500 and Lawdragon, which named him among the top 500 lawyers in the United States.


During his career, Mr. Feldman has advised clients on more than $100 billion in complex transactions, spanning market-rate and affordable housing, master-planned communities, industrial facilities, entertainment centers, education campuses, retail malls, medical office and healthcare facilities, hotels and destination resorts, at-scale environmental remediation, military base reuse, transportation infrastructure, green building, and public-private partnerships.


Mr. Feldman has appeared on CNBC, CBS, ABC, Fox Business News, and Bloomberg’s Game Changers with Magic Johnson. His insights have been featured in Barron's, Time Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg Businessweek, Fortune, Forbes, The New York Times, and The Los Angeles Times.


Mr. Feldman is deeply committed to education and civic leadership. For over 15 years, he has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the UCLA Richard S. Ziman Center for Real Estate at the Anderson School of Management, one of the nation’s premier graduate real estate programs. His past and present affiliations include:

Mr. Feldman earned his J.D. from King Hall at the University of California, Davis School of Law, where he served as Executive Editor of the UC Davis Law Review. He graduated with Highest Honors from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
